The Matech Systems ApS company based in Billund will, as agency and distributor, look after our interests in Denmark with immediate effect.

It takes over from the NIKATEK ApS company in Værløse, which has been working for STOCKO in Denmark since 1995. Its Managing Director, Torkild Kastrup is retiring due to old age and will in future enjoy his well deserved retirement.

Matech Systems ApS was founded in 2007 and represents, among others, the Swiss company Komax, one of the worldwide leading suppliers of wire processing systems and automated assembly systems.

STOCKO's product range sensibly rounds off Matech's previous product range according to its Managing Director Stephan Madsen.

STOCKO has conferred the 'Agent/ Distributor of the Year' award for the second time. The award acknowledges particularly outstanding commitment by the sales agencies of our company. The award is the result of a comprehensive internal sales assessment. The main criteria for the award include: business development, cooperation and an objective-compliant approach to customers.

The winner of 2007 is KLEMI Contact Srl., Milan.

Gabriele Arlt, Key Account Manager - Industrial Electronics, handed over the STOCKO AWARD to General Manager Ugo Clementi during a small celebration: "For STOCKO, high performance and experienced partners are an important guarantee for successful projects and satisfied customers. The regular conferment of the STOCKO AWARD should be a permanent component of our marketing strategy. With this award we want to motivate our partners to improve their performance and strive for an ever closer relationship - to the benefit of both sides."

Ugo Clementi was surprised by the award but sees it as confirming his work and that of his team. "It is of course our objective to not only maintain this level in the future but also to continuously raise it." He has no doubts about this being achievable. "We have competent and motivated employees who have excellent product knowledge. Also important is the high level of identification with STOCKO. These are the important pillars of our success to date."

KLEMI Contact Srl. was founded in 2006. The Managing Director is Claudio Clementi, his father Ugo acts as General Manager. Ugo Clementi has more than 30 years of experience in the connectors sector. Until 2006, he was Managing Director of the worldwide oldest STOCKO agent, the Comarel company in Milan, which today still works for STOCKO as a distributor.

KLEMI Contact has six employees and represents STOCKO exclusively in Italy.
